CAMPUS ROCK: pop-rock music seminars in Catalonia

Touring Musical School

Campus Rock is a travelling music school specialised in pop and rock music. Rather than operating from a single location, Campus Rock develops its projects in collaboration with cultural centres, music schools and public and private institutions.
Our educational approach is based on creativity, contemporary musical trends and new technologies, creating a dynamic meeting point for young musicians from different backgrounds, cultures and experiences.

Camps & musical activities

Campus Rock organises music camps, workshops and intensive programmes where participants experience music from morning to night in a creative and inspiring environment. Beyond learning, the camps are also a space for connection, collaboration and sharing experiences with other musicians.

At Campus Rock, the main focus is playing in a pop-rock band. We believe in learning through real musical experience: rehearsing, creating, performing and growing together as musicians.

There are no traditional music theory classes. Instead, participants take part in creative sessions where they compose original songs that are later arranged and performed together with other students. Teachers act as mentors and band coaches, guiding each participant through a practical, modern and motiv

Previous Experience

Participants should already know how to play an instrument before attending Campus Rock. The camp is not designed for complete beginners, but for young musicians who want to develop their skills through rehearsals, live performance and collaboration with teachers and other participants.

It is recommended to have at least two years of playing experience and a basic musical background in order to fully enjoy and follow the band activities, rehearsals and concerts.

From day one, Campus Rock offers a creative, motivating and non-competitive environment where musicians of different levels can learn, improve and perform together. Participants rehearse and play in bands every day, while also taking part in sectional rehearsals, workshops and masterclasses led by professional musicians.

Campus Rock Music
Campus Rock Songwriter is a programme dedicated to discovering, developing and promoting young musical talent and original songwriting.
During the Campus Rock seminars and camps in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, participants compose their own songs with the guidance of professional musicians, songwriters and tutors. The programme includes creative workshops focused on modern songwriting, lyric writing and musical composition.
At each campus, between two and three original songs are premiered live during the final concert. From all the songs created throughout the year, up to four are selected for professional studio recording.
The recording process becomes a real artistic experience where young songwriters work alongside producers, musicians and sound engineers, learning first-hand how a professional production is developed from start to finish.
Once recorded, mixed and produced, the songs are released online and participants are free to use them for their own artistic promotion. Periodically, Campus Rock also releases compilation albums featuring selected songs from the programme.
In addition, each production includes a “making of” style videoclip featuring the song and its creator, offering participants a complete creative and promotional experience. Watch videos & listen to the songs.
